Welcome to the Holy Family Catholic Church, Swindon!
We are a Catholic Community inspired by the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph.
Holy Family Catholic Church is established in the year 1969 and is functioning under the Diocese of Clifton with a vibrant community. The Holy Family Church focuses on the spiritual renewal of the people in Swindon. The Church becomes a center of propagation of Eucharistic devotion and a reconciling center in administering the sacrament of Confession. The Eucharistic Jesus is publicly exposed for adoration from 5.00 pm to 6.00 pm on Fridays. This parish exuberates faith, enthusiasm and love.
Parish Priest's Message
Nothing has prepared the world to face the unprecedented Covid-19 pandemic. It has been a moment of reflection as we recollect and focus more on what is most important. This wave of painful reality of Corona Virus has caused so much anxiety, discomfort, change in our lifestyle, attitude to life and sadly, some deaths. However, it is not entirely a hopeless situation since we can all play our roles to stop the further spread of this virus and equally offer to help in other specialized ways we could.
On our part as Christians, Religious men and women, including the non-religious who at least, are guided by ethical principles, it is time to allow our common humanity to shine forth. Fortunately and unfortunately, in moments like this the best and the worst of the human person is seen. Though we may be distant from each other, let us be spiritually connected in turning this painful moment into prayer, sacrifice and generosity that characterizes our calling as Christians and our natural inclination as humans.
In this period of Ordinary Time in the church, we are once again drawn to be mindful of the daily ministry of Christ and his church; to go beyond our own personal life and preoccupation, to reach out to those who need our ministries in sacraments and daily life circumstances.
