Mass intentions for the 2027 liturgical year could be more easily managed if we could make a list of all the masses we wish to book with the date and ahead of time. Also, it would be helpful to provide contact details in case there are changes.

The dates for the First Holy Communion in 2027 are on Saturday 22^nd May at 11:00am and Sunday 23^rd May at 2:00pm.

There will be a meeting for the Catechists, parents and children for First Holy Communion on 12^th December 2026 at 10:00am in Holy Family Church.

The date for the Sacrament of Confirmation in 2027 is on Tuesday 25^th May 2027 at 7:00pm.

Fr. Obi is offering marriage course online for couples who are preparing to get married in the Catholic Church. You are invited to participate online, no matter the country of residence.

Certificates, are issued at the end of every course.

In the month of October, we will be reciting the rosary every day 20 minutes before mass.

Please write your name on the notice board if you would like to lead the rosary.

On the approach to Christmas, please will you consider donating children’s toys, food and clothes to the Haven (for the homeless). Gifts to be left at the convent.

If you have a child born between 1^st September 2022 and 31^st August 2023, then now is the time to apply for a place at a primary school for admission from September 2027 onwards.

You must complete an application form that is available from the school admissions team of the Council(s).

If your child has been baptised and you are applying for a Catholic school, you must also provide a copy of the baptism certificate to the school.

Please ensure you apply by the closing date of 15^th January 2027.

We are encouraging our parishioners, those who are able, to consider setting up direct debit / standing order, which could also attract gift aid from the government to support our parish.

You are equally welcome to make a one-off donation to the parish.

This is an important message to families in our parish, concerning any sick and housebound that need the parish priest to visit and administer the sacrament of the sick. Please call or email the Parish Office as soon as possible. It is better not left till the last minute.
