Meet our Parish Priest

          Rev. Fr. Isidore Nnam Di Obi, the parish priest, was born on 7th June 1975 in Umunumo, Nigeria. After his secondary education, he joined the National Missionary Seminary of St Paul, Gwagwalada Abuja, where he obtained undergraduate studies in Philosophy and Humanities, as well as Sacred Theology and Religious Studies. Shortly before he left for his further studies at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium, he obtained Diploma in French at Le Village Francais Du Nigeria – Badagry, Lagos. In Leuven Belgium, Fr Isidore obtained Master of Arts in Theology and Religious studies; Master of Advanced Studies in Biblical Exegesis; Masters and Licenciate in Canon Law. In 2008/2009, Fr Isidore joined  St John's Seminary Wonersh - Guilford, Surrey, England, as part of preparation to become a priest of Clifton diocese. 

He was ordained priest on 26 February, 2011 by Bishop Declan Lang. 

             He has published numerous articles in magazines and journals, moreover he is the author of "Moments of Life" published in the year 2011. 

             He was the Chairman, Tetbury All Churches Together ( 2015-2016 ), Chaplain, Royal Agricultural University, Cirencester, (2013 to 2019 ), also he served as Parish Priest, St Michael’s Catholic Church Tetbury & St Peter’s Catholic Church Cirencester (2013 to 2019).

       He has been serving as Judge, Clifton Diocese Marriage Tribunal, (2010 till Present); Chairman and Founder, “ACHIEVE AFRICA” Charity,  (2014 till Present); Canon Lawyer adviser, Clifton Diocese Safeguarding Commission, United Kingdom (2017 to Present).
