READERS MINISTRY

"The Lord has given me a disciple’s tongue.
He provides me with speech so that I may know how to reply to the wearied.

Each morning he wakes me to hear, to listen like a disciple."

Isaiah 55:10-11

A lector is someone who proclaims the first and second readings during Catholic mass, also may lead the Prayers of the Faithful at Mass. Becoming a lector is a serious decision and commitment to your faith and parish, since you are sharing your time and energy to the service of the church.
