The Feast of the Presentation of the Lord is on Monday 2nd February mass is at 6:30pm in Holy Family Church.

The date for First Holy Communion 2026 is on Saturday 6th June 2026 at 11:00am and Sunday 7th June at 2:00pm.

The next preparation session is on Saturday 31^st January 2026, 10:00am – 11:15 am. 

The date for the Sacrament of Confirmation in 2026 is on Tuesday 9th June 2026 at 7:00pm. 

The first preparation session is on Tuesday 3rd February 2026, 6:30pm - 8:00 pm.

Our diocesan family will be celebrating Mass in the Cathedral on Saturday 14^th February (12 noon) and Bishop Bosco is inviting all families to join us to acknowledge the joys & challenges of family life.

In addition, we will celebrate those couples with significant anniversaries in 2026. If you are, or know of a couple, celebrating a special anniversary during 2026 please do let us know. You just need to send names to: adult.education@cliftondiocese.com with an address so that a personal invitation can be sent out from the bishop. Please include the number of years celebrating.

This year’s Rite of Election takes place in our Cathedral at 11:00am on Saturday 21st February. On this first Saturday of Lent, as at the start of every Lent, our diocesan family will gather at the cathedral together with our bishop to celebrate the Rite of Election, where those who are journeying towards becoming part of our Catholic community are presented to Bishop Bosco.

Mass intentions for the 2026 liturgical year could be more easily managed if we could make a list of all the masses we wish to book with the date and ahead of time. Also, it would be helpful to include any contact details in case there are changes.

We welcome our young readers, who have received the Sacrament of Confirmation. We invite any who are interested to speak to Sainora Camelo who will organise a six-month practise and preparation before they are commissioned to read.

This is an important message to families in our parish, concerning any sick and housebound that need the parish priest to visit and administer the sacrament of the sick. Please call or email the Parish Office as soon as possible. It is better not left till the last minute.

In view of the plan to build the Holy Family Church Hall, the finance committee members have decided that donations to the church will henceforth be directed to the church hall funding unless the donor advises otherwise. Thank you for every support so far.
