STATIONS OF THE CROSS
There will be an opportunity for the Stations of the Cross every Friday during Lent, starting with Adoration at 5:00pm, Stations of the cross at 5:45pm and mass at 6:30pm. If you would like to lead in any of the stations, please write your name on the parish notice board.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION 2026
The date for First Holy Communion 2026 is on Saturday 6th June 2026 at 11:00am and Sunday 7th June at 2:00pm.
The next preparation session is on Saturday 28th February 2026, 10:00 – 11:15am.

CONFIRMATION 2026
The date for the Sacrament of Confirmation in 2026 is on Tuesday 9th June 2026 at 7:00pm.
The first preparation session is on Tuesday 3rd March 2026, 6:30 - 8:00pm.

HOLY FAMILY LENTEN RETREAT
The Bedrock Community Swindon are Hosting a “Cor et Lumen Christi Event” on Saturday 21st February 2026 at 9:30 am – 9:30 pm in Holy Family Church. Inspirational Teaching, Healing Service, Eucharist, Prophecy and Praise & Worship. Bringing God’s grace and power into our life especially in this Lent. Everyone is welcome.

SECOND COLLECTION – NEXT WEEKEND - CAFOD

PRESENTATION ASSOCIATES
The next Presentation Associates meeting will be held on Monday 2nd March at 1:30 – 2:15pm in the convent. Following this, everyone is welcome to join us at 2:30 – 4:00pm, for a short reflective Lenten service with prayers, music and hymns. Tea and coffee will be served at the end.

LENTEN RECONCILIATION
Bishop Bosco invites you to join him during this season of Lent to celebrate the abundant mercy of God through the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Join him at one of the five venues across our diocese as part of your Lenten Pilgrimage. Each Liturgy will start at 7:00pm.

Tuesday 10th March - Immaculate Conception, Devizes

THE CARLOS
Swindon Youth is organising a monthly event called The Carlos. This event is open to all between the ages of 12 and 17 years old.
The first event this year takes place on 21st Feb. between 1:00pm and 4:00pm at Broadgreen Community Centre.

DIOCESAN DAY 2026
Bishop Bosco warmly invites you to join him on 4th July for our Diocesan Day celebration entitled: 'The Joy of Love' at Downside School & Abbey. We will have Patti Boulaye OBE as our keynote speaker, as well as a children’s & young people’s programme. Arrivals/refreshments from 10:00am. A hot lunch will be provided (a lunch box for the children). Our Diocesan Day Mass will take place in the Abbey Church at 3:30pm, with the day ending around 4:30pm. There will be a maximum of 400 tickets. If you would like to join us for the day, please register via: https://joyoflove.eventbrite.co.uk for your ticket. For the catering/safeguarding requirements, booking through Eventbrite is essential. The closing date for tickets is 24 June unless fully booked beforehand.

RITE OF ELECTION
This year’s Rite of Election takes place in our Cathedral at 11:00am on Saturday 21st February. On this first Saturday of Lent, as at the start of every Lent, our diocesan family will gather at the cathedral together with our bishop to celebrate the Rite of Election, where those who are journeying towards becoming part of our Catholic community are presented to Bishop Bosco.

READERS
We welcome our young readers, who have received the Sacrament of Confirmation. We invite any who are interested to speak to Sainora Camelo who will organise a six-month practise and preparation before they are commissioned to read.

SACRAMENT OF THE SICK
This is an important message to families in our parish, concerning any sick and housebound that need the parish priest to visit and administer the sacrament of the sick. Please call or email the Parish Office as soon as possible. It is better not left till the last minute.
DONATIONS
In view of the plan to build the Holy Family Church Hall, the finance committee members have decided that donations to the church will henceforth be directed to the church hall funding unless the donor advises otherwise. Thank you for every support so far.
HOLY FAMILY YOUTH GROUP
